Ten minutes from the beach

Cresswell sits at the southern end of the Northumberland coast, where the beach runs for miles and rarely feels busy even in August. The lodge is on Cresswell Towers, so the pool, the arcade, the bar and the takeaway are all a short walk away and included.

It is the easy option with children. There is enough on the park for a wet afternoon, and enough beach for a good one.

Worth knowing: the park facilities close from 6 November to 6 March. The lodge is still lovely out of season, and the beach is at its best in winter, but the pool and bar will be shut.
